ice ice baby

A coconut ice hat!

This was a quick weekend project from the Jo Sharp Saturday book. It kind of reminds me of a May Gibbs Ragged Blossom hat, I just need to add a little fringing...and wear some leaves!

On the weekend I also found this nice old chair at the tip shop. It's my new knitting chair (no more bumping elbows on the couch!).
I've sanded it down and one day will eventually re-upholster it, but in the meantime I've made a little quilted cover for it. The fabric is by Kaffe Fasset and some have been turned inside out to give it a faded look.

Wow the chair looks great, you can re-upholster my chair any day!!

Yep you look like a big gum nut in that beannie!
What yarn did you use?
I should start a little forum on yarn on this blog!

It's Jo Sharp desert garden cotton. Really nice and luxurious feeling
