Oh this is my new favorite painting..I spotted it on its own just before you go into the shop at the Art Gallery of NSW. Its a painting by Grace Cossington Smith, titled ' The Sock Knitter'.

I love that painting! It's in a book about GCS, and it is apparently her sister.
